I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; (1 Timothy 2:1 KJV)
Great things happen when we pray as a church. Prayer must be perceived as the place of supernatural birth. Paul having experienced the power of prayer exhorts that prayers be made for all men. The travailing church must rule in the place of prayer as the substratum for the success of all things.
Notice the audacity of Paul about prayer, he exhorted that prayers be made for all men, here the apostle established the superior influence of prayer over all men. This is totally opposed to the notion that many hold about prayer. They think of prayer as influence with limited power and over few men. I have heard many say” that brother needs more than prayer”, oh what ignorance born out of limited experience of the power of prayer. Apostle Paul reveals the astronomical influence of prayer in the lips of faith. The greatest flaw in our worship is our negligence of our most treasured weapon of triumph over all men in the world; our prayer.
Notice ” all men” here means all mankind despite their troubles, their philosophy, or their beliefs. Paul concludes, prayer has influence on all men. Oh what an audacity, all men with all of their troubles and pains can be changed by the power of our prayer. Oh how sad to see that prayer has become the last resort to many believers. They try to help without praying but only prayer can fix all things for all men. The believer has more when it comes to influence on the world; his prayer life. Today God is calling His own back to their greatest arena of power where divine influences are created and the world is dominated.
It’s time to pray for all men no matter how impossible they appear, take their case to God in prayer. Oh what a privilege forfeited when prayer is forgotten. Oh that we know that we have such powers that created the heaven and the earth in our mouth to create a new beginning in the lives of men.
Let there be a release of supplication for men in all places, change their lives with the fruits of your lips. Your influence on men can not go beyond your prayer life. Don’t ever forget your prayer has eternal influence on the destiny of all men. Use it.
Rhema word: Jesus prayed, Paul prayed, then you should for all men.
Confession : I am given to prayer and supplication for all men like never before, I am a molder of destinies with the fruit of my lips like never before. I exercise my influence on issues in the lives of all men and I declare manifestation of my confession in Jesus’ name, Amen.
